Kent is a veteran of the real estate sales and marketing industry. He joined PMA Brethour Realty Group in 1983 and became Vice President of Research in 1988, responsible for many comprehensive market assessments and feasibility studies for builders, developers, government agencies, and financial institutions. He was the driving force behind Housing Data Reports – BILD’s source for housing market statistics and information for 20 years before being merged with Realnet Canada in the year 2000 and then later with Altus Group.
In 2016 he became President of the PMA Brethour Realty Group responsible for the direct marketing and sales management of many of the GTA’s leading builders, while still maintaining a role on the research side. The sales management aspect of this role included the co-ordination of sales program launches, building and managing sales and administrative teams, reviewing proposed floorplans and project merchandising, providing recommendations on project pricing and revenue, and helping to design strategic marketing programs. Kent has worked with clients including: Metropia, VANDYK Communities, Kaneff, Glen Rouge Homes, InSoHo Developments, Halminen Homes, Macpherson Builders, and Woodcastle Homes.
He sat on BILD’s Board of Directors from 2014 to 2017 and is the current Chair of BILD’s Associates Council. Kent is Brick + Mortar’s Broker of Record, licensed through RECO, a member of ULI, and holds an Urban Geography Degree from McMaster University and a Research Techniques Diploma from Sheridan College.

Alex is a recognized leader in the areas of real estate research, market intelligence, and industry best practices. He is a certified LEED Green Associate through GBCI, a member of ULI, and a licensed Broker through RECO. He spent the last five years working at PMA Brethour Realty Group, first as Research Analyst and later as Research Director, managing all aspects of the firm’s research department.
This role involved conducting comprehensive market analysis, including market research and feasibility studies, competitive market analyses, monthly market updates, focus groups, and demographic studies utilizing GIS mapping, for such clients as Mattamy Homes, Great Gulf, Metropia, Heathwood Homes, Dorsay Development, TACC, and the Niagara Region.
Alex’s role also included sales management, specializing in project pricing and marketing strategy, for various clients including Adi Development Group, Sierra Building Group, Lancaster Homes, Hi-Rise Group, Forest Green Homes, and Rose Corporation. Alex graduated from the Schulich School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a specialization in Marketing.
